Geocasts are the heart of Geocaster, letting you transform any location into a storytelling experience.
Geocasts are your story brought to life through locations. It can be a single audio clip tied to a special place or a collection of castpoints guiding your audience through a journey. Think of geocasts as experiences you create for others to explore—whether it’s a historical tour, a scavenger hunt, or a personal story. The flexibility of Geocaster allows you to craft geocasts that fit your unique vision.

Recording castpoints
Castpoints are the building blocks of your geocasts. They’re the moments where your story comes alive.
You can record castpoints in two ways: • At Your Current Location: Simply press the record button to tie your audio to the exact spot where you’re standing.
• On the Map: Press and hold on the map to place a castpoint anywhere in the world, perfect for planning remotely or refining your geocast later.
Each castpoint adds depth to your geocast, providing audio, text, or media that captures the spirit of a place.

Assembling geocasts
Once you’ve recorded your castpoints, it’s time to bring them together into a geocast.
1. Open the geocast you want to build or edit. 2. Tap “Add Castpoints” or "Manage" in the Castpoints Section to view all your recorded castpoints.
3. Select the castpoints you want to include, arrange them in the perfect order, and save your geocast. Whether your geocast follows a sequential story or offers a choose-your-own-adventure style, assembling it is simple and intuitive. Share it with the world and let the exploration begin!
