Record Your First Castpoints
Open the app and tap the big white record button. Start talking, then save your audio as a castpoint or geocast.
- Add Castpoints Where You Stand:
Just hit record and save.
- Place Castpoints Anywhere: Press and hold on the map to drop one at a specific location.
Not happy with your recording?
No problem—tap the “X” to start over or delete it later. Castpoints remain private unless added to a geocast, so experiment freely!
Compile a Geocast from Castpoints
Time to assemble your geocast! Here’s how:
- Record a few castpoints and create a geocast to hold them.
- Add a title, description, and tags to your creations.
- Open your geocast, tap “Add Castpoints”, and select them in the order you prefer.
- Drag to reorder castpoints as needed and hit “Save”.
Your geocast is ready to share and explore!
Try It Out and Share with Friends
Test your geocast by selecting “Find Items in Geocast” and experiencing it yourself. Share it with friends via text or email using the share button. Collect feedback, make tweaks, and celebrate—you’ve created a fully functional geocast!
